Open Doors at Justice: Who We Are and What We Do
This year’s 5th annual Open Doors at Justice event will focus on sharing information and hearing from Justice Canada employees who will be speaking about what they do and why their work is important to supporting Canada’s Justice System, including increasing access to justice for all people in Canada, as outlined in Canada’s strategy to undertake the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and more specifically Goal 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions. Under this goal, Justice Canada is working to advance a people-centred approach to justice that puts consideration of the individual at the heart of justice responses by providing access to information, programs and policies.
For one week in May, come together to share ideas, discuss solutions, and commit to new levels of citizen participation in government.
