Which open government data sets are most frequently accessed?
Many governments provide open data to promote transparency and good government. But it may be helpful to explore which data sets are actually accessed through existing open government portals. Experts from India, Nigeria, and the US will list and discuss data sets that are most frequently accessed in their country. Since most users of open data, by design, are allowed to remain anonymous, our panelists will offer their hypotheses for who may be accessing the top data sets, and for what uses. Audience participants are invited to ask questions or offer feedback.
For one week in May, come together to share ideas, discuss solutions, and commit to new levels of citizen participation in government.
