Open Gov Week is a global initiative led by the Open Government Partnership that celebrates open, transparent, and accountable governance. Each year, governments, civil society, and citizens come together to showcase initiatives, share ideas, and collaborate on ways to make public institutions more responsive and inclusive.

During Open Gov Week, participants can:

• Learn: Attend workshops and webinars on open government practices, innovation, and citizen engagement.
• Engage: Share ideas, provide feedback, and contribute to policies that shape communities.
• Connect: Collaborate with public servants, activists, and innovators from around the world.

This year, for the 8th Open Gov Week we will mark the official launch of OGP’s 15-year anniversary celebrations, building momentum toward a global moment at the UN General Assembly in September, where OGP was first created in 2011.

Throughout the week, the OGP community will host events, hackathons, debates, and creative actions that showcase the power of open government in practice. We invite members of the community to share the success they are most proud of and their vision for the future of open government, through short videos, social media posts, and local events.
