Advancing Gender Responsiveness in the Sierra Leone Parliament: How Did You Do It?
The story of how Sierra Leone has come thus far in advancing women’s representation in
Parliament is worth sharing with the rest of the world. A platform to provide an opportunity for
parliamentary stakeholders, civil society and parliamentary development experts to discuss the
lessons and experiences from Sierra Leone is why this dialogue is being organized by
Parliamentary Network Africa (PNAfrica) in collaboration with the Parliament of Sierra Leone. This webinar will allow stakeholders and partners to share insights, and experiences, on
strategies and interventions that have been effective in promoting women’s representation in
Parliament and advancing gender equality in Sierra Leone.
For one week in May, come together to share ideas, discuss solutions, and commit to new levels of citizen participation in government.
