As part of the REMACTO program, the commune of Chichaoua is organizing a cocreation workshop to the Open Local Government Program with the participation of CSOs from the Consultative body.
This event is part of a series of meetings that aim to prepare the draft action plan with the aim to organize consulatation meetings about the draft plan before its adoption in October 2024.
Commune Chichaoua joined the REMACTO program that was established in October 2022 and covers 126 local governments that include 12 regions, 7 provinces and 107 local communes.
REMACTO is a space for dialogue and sharing to promote the principles of open government: citizen participation, digitalization, communication, access to information, transparency and accountability.

The Open Government Challenge is a call to action for all members of OGP to raise ambition in ten areas of open government to help strengthen our democracies. Over the next five years, all members of the Partnership should aim to raise the ambition of reforms in 10 policy areas and demonstrate relevant progress in as many of the areas of the Challenge through their OGP action plans or beyond.We must act together to make a difference, because only when governments, public officials, and civil society work together, we see more ambitious and impactful reforms that transform our communities.
