A CGU optou por realizar um evento formativo voltado a servidores públicos federais e colaboradores, nos dias 27 e 28 de maio, no sentido de fortalecer a agenda de governo aberto no âmbito do Governo Federal. A iniciativa representa um esforço significativo para disseminar uma nova cultura de governança em que a colaboração entre governo e sociedade seja uma constante. Serão realizados diálogos virtuais com especialistas do governo, da sociedade civil e academia, que tenham experiência no desenvolvimento de ações voltadas a construção de governos mais abertos. Os temas a serem abordados são espaço cívico, governança digital e participação pública.

CGU will hold a formative event aimed at federal public servants on May 27th and 28th, in order to strengthen the open government agenda within the scope of the Federal Government. This initiative represents a significant effort to promote a new culture of governance, in which collaboration between the government and its citizens is a constant. Virtual dialogues will be held with experts from the government, civil society, and academia who have experience in developing actions aimed at further promoting open government. The topics to be addressed include civic space, digital governance, and public participation.

The Open Government Challenge is a call to action for all members of OGP to raise ambition in ten areas of open government to help strengthen our democracies. Over the next five years, all members of the Partnership should aim to raise the ambition of reforms in 10 policy areas and demonstrate relevant progress in as many of the areas of the Challenge through their OGP action plans or beyond.We must act together to make a difference, because only when governments, public officials, and civil society work together, we see more ambitious and impactful reforms that transform our communities.

It’s our time to meet the moment. Let’s use Open Gov Week to take on the the Open Gov Challenge.
