Open Government Week 2022 – 17th to 20th of May

Open Government Week is an annual international event promoted by the Open Government Partnership – OGP among 79 national members and 56 local governments from around the world. The event aims to promote the Open Government agenda in partnership with Civil Society.

In 2022, the three Brazilian local governments that are members of OGP Local (Santa Catarina, São Paulo and Osasco) joined the Comptroller General of Brazil (CGU) to propose a joint 4-day agenda (17-20 May) of discussions on: social participation, transparency, innovation and the fight against corruption.

All activities will be carried out online.

There are three types of activities planned: Roundtables, Panels and Workshops.

• Roundtables are moments in which two or more government bodies meet to present an overview of a topic and then open for debate.
• Panels are activities conducted by only one of the bodies to discuss specific topics in the action plans or in the interests of each federative entity
• The workshops are proposed for only one of the bodies or entities that prepare the civil issue for the discussion and articulation of the product.
