Participatory democracy in Lithuania
Democracies around the world are looking for ways and means to involve citizens more actively in state-building and solutions adoption processes. One of the most important elements of a democratic state is civil society, which is actively involved in activities of non-governmental organizations and voluntary initiatives. But are all the possibilities and ways to be exploited yet to involve citizens more actively in decision-making processes, thus implementing the principles of participatory democracy in the country will be discussed during the forum.
