PH Open Gov Week 2024: Meet the Moment. Raise Ambition. Rise to the Challenge.

The opening session of the PH-OGP celebration of Open Gov Week 2024 will bring together open
government champions and reformers from government and non-government who have been
instrumental in raising the ambition of open government reforms and in shaping the PH-OGP
direction towards institutionalization and localization, and sustained partnership for impactful
results.
It shall feature through panel discussions how PH-OGP initiatives have been raising the ambition
of the country’s open government reforms and showcase how partnerships have been working in
generating impactful and meaningful results. During the program we shall also recognize our civil
society partners from the previous Steering Committee who have been instrumental in laying the
foundations of a strong and inclusive community of open government reformers that have
transcend several transitions and in powering.

The Open Government Challenge is a call to action for all members of OGP to raise ambition in ten areas of open government to help strengthen our democracies. Over the next five years, all members of the Partnership should aim to raise the ambition of reforms in 10 policy areas and demonstrate relevant progress in as many of the areas of the Challenge through their OGP action plans or beyond.We must act together to make a difference, because only when governments, public officials, and civil society work together, we see more ambitious and impactful reforms that transform our communities.

It’s our time to meet the moment. Let’s use Open Gov Week to take on the the Open Gov Challenge.
