the urgency of contract disclosure in the procurement of goods and services in Indonesia

The polemic on the procurement of curtains for the houses of members of the DPR RI worth Rp. 43.5 billion has been completed. BURT and the Secretariat General of the DPR decided to cancel the process. The cessation of the procurement process does not make problems in the procurement of goods/services just like that. This is because the main problem that arises in every public procurement is the disclosure of information regarding the procurement contract. This causes the public as taxpayers to be unable to carry out the control function over spending made by the Government.

To discuss this matter, Indonesia Corruption Watch invited Civil Society Network colleagues and journalists to attend the Webinar on “The Urgency of Contract Disclosure in the Procurement of Goods and Services in Indonesia”
