Ukraine presents the world’s first interactive course on ultimate beneficial ownership identification!
Transparency of beneficial ownership has become an important policy tool in fighting corruption, stopping illegal financial flows, and combating tax evasion. Proper identification of the ultimate beneficial owner (UBO), disclosure of reliable information, and establishing a mechanism for verification of UBO information are global challenges. After this course – – you will: 1) learn why it is vital to determine the UBO, who and how regulates the requirements for transparency and identification of UBO, 2) understand who is the ultimate beneficial owner and how to determine it, 3) find out Ukrainian experience in UBO transparency, international standards, and best practices, 4) assess the level of your knowledge. The information provided in the course is actual as of 15.05.2021. The English version of the interactive course will be presented at the beginning of June.
